Join the Missoula Art Museum for a special morning conversation with heather ahtone (Choctaw/Chickasaw Nation), Director of Curatorial Affairs at the First Americans Museum in Oklahoma City and co-curator of Joe Feddersen: Earth, Water, Sky.
ahtone will share the curatorial vision behind this landmark career retrospective, offering insight into Joe Feddersen's four-decade artistic practice, the collaborative process of organizing the exhibition, and the themes that connect his work to landscape, culture, and community. This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from one of the exhibition's co-curators and gain a deeper understanding of one of the most significant contemporary Native art exhibitions touring the country.
