CONTINUUM: CONTEMPORARY AMERICAN INDIAN ART FROM THE MAM COLLECTION
The Missoula Art Museum (MAM) and Salish Kootenai College (SKC) are collaborating to exhibit works from MAM's Contemporary American Indian Art Collection at the Three Woodcocks building on the SKC campus. The exhibition is guest curated by University of Montana art history graduate student Nikolyn Garner.

Stephen Braun: Hindsight and Foresight Are 20/20
In this exhibit of new work, Montana artist Stephen Braun has created sculptures using what he calls a "bastardized American raku technique" that was pioneered by Paul Soldner in the 1960s. The exhibit will include large, narrative wall-based and free-standing sculptures, some of which encourage audience interaction, including pieces that spin and works intended to be walked directly upon, around, or through.

This special collection show focuses on the Contemporary American Indian Art Collection, which started in established in 1997 following a gift of prints by Jaune Quick-to-See Smith from the Rutgers Center for Innovative Print and Paper. Guest curators and visitors alike have the opportunity to interact and respond to works from the MAM collection as they are added to the Lynda M. Frost Contemporary American Indian Art Gallery.
