How have other people connected with loved ones who are suffering from memory or terminal illness? In an open-mic format we invite the public to share stories, moments, and experiences of connectivity. In the exhibition Earthborn: 30 Seconds to 40 Moons, artist Elizabeth Stone illuminates some of the personal connections she shared with her mother who suffered from Parkinson's disease. MAM holds space for individuals living with dementia to enjoy art together in its monthly Art in the Moment program, and will hold space again during this evening of sharing.
Presented in conjunction with Dementia Friendly Missoula, Missoula Aging Services, and the Montana Geriatric Education Center at the University of Montana.
