Ages: 16+

Participants will learn how to create color fields, textures, line, depth, color mixing, and mixed-media.  From Michelangelo to Wolff Kahn, we will examine the pastels of other artist.  Surfaces, technique, and individual expression as well as fixatives, framing and presentation, will be looked at in creative and practical ways. Using forms in nature as inspiration, we will demystify the world of chalk pastels. Materials list provided. Minimum students required: 6
