This comprehensive exhibition featured the paintings, drawings, prints and sculpture by Montana artist and former University of Montana professor James Todd. The central themes in Todd’s internationally celebrated work are jazz, pool, portraiture and social concerns. The publication features three essays: one by Simon Brett, former chairman of the Society of Wood Engravers in England, of which Todd is a member; another penned by Ron Perrin, a fellow Emeritus Professor from The University of Montana; and a third by Stephen Glueckert, Curator of Exhibitions at MAM.
