MAM commissioned 15 American Indian artists to respond to the Lewis & Clark Bicentennial for this 2005 exhibition of prints. The portfolio includes work by: Neal Ambrose-Smith, Dwight Billedeaux, Melissa Bob, Damian Charette, Corky Clairmont, Jason Clark, Joe Feddersen, Jeneese Hilton, Ramon Murillo, Molly Murphy, Neil Parsons, Lillian Pitt, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, Gail Tremblay, and Melanie Yazzie. The colorful book is encased with a unique par fleche cover by exhibiting artist Jaune Quick-to-See Smith. MAM commissioned widely acclaimed author Debra Magpie Earling to write The Lost Journals of Sacajewea and the creative, poignant text is included in the catalogue. Additionally, the publication includes essays and writings by co-curator Corwin Clairmont, MAM Curator of Exhibitions Stephen Glueckert, and MAM Curator of Education Renee Taaffe.
