Founded in 1975 and accredited by the American Association of Museums since 1987, the MAM is a non-profit museum that educates, challenges, and inspires the community through contemporary art.

MAM hosts between 20 and 25 challenging contemporary art exhibitions every year in its new, state-of-the-art building, each lasting approximately three months. From representational painting to edgy film to cutting-edge American Indian work, the MAM is sure to have an upcoming exhibition that speaks to your interests.

MAM provides quality, affordable educational programs for three broad audiences: youth and families, adults and schools and teachers.
