Randi O’Brien will deliver a lecture on ceramic abstraction in conjunction with the exhibition Binary Form: Ceramic Abstraction by Trey Hill and Andrea Moon.
O’Brien is a ceramist, art historian, author, and educator. She received her MFA in Ceramics and MA in Art History from the University of Montana. She was the director of the Helen E. Copeland Gallery at Montana State University and the Rosalie Steiner Art Gallery at Genesee Community College in Batavia, New York before returning to Montana to accept the Associate Professor of Ceramics position at MSU-Billing. She has written about Trey Hill’s work for the publication Ceramics Ireland.
