Folded Origami Accordion Books with Susie Risho

Build a colorful handmade book with a series of special folds and hidden images. Susie will share her love of books with you.

Enjoy an opportunity to learn and create with your child on an imaginative project. Older children can delve into projects on their own but parents are asked to stay and work with children under age 7. All workshops are free of charge and are on a first come, first serve basis!

Distinguished Artist Lecture: Holly Andres

Artist-in-residence Holly Andres will deliver a lecture on her cinematic, narrative photographs. Andres rich colors, mysterious characters, and artfully choreographed scenes will captivate you. Meet Andres and join her in an exploration of this evocative exhibition and learn the stories behind Andres’ striking photos. Co-sponsored by the UM School of Art and the Jim and Jane Dew Visiting Artist Lecture.

The CCC Annual Acquisition Event is the culminating event for the Collector’s Circle, when the dues that have been collected in the previous year from CCC members are utilized to purchase an artwork(s) for MAM’s Permanent Collection.
